Don Pepe Estate coffee plantations are located in the humid forests of Panama, on the slopes of the Baru volcano. It is part of the region where the small town of Boquete is located, which has a great influence on agriculture in the region.

The farm is located in Volcancito, Boquete, 11 km from Volcan Baru National Park. Coffee plantations were first established and started growing coffee in 1898 by Don Enrique Vasquez, who was a pioneer and founder. Don Pepe Estate grows seven varieties of coffee; Geisha, Java, Bourbon, typica, Pacamara, Catuai and Caturra. Due to the ecological conditions of the region, Don Pepe Estate was also foresight and assigned 10% of the total land area (about 20 hectares) to preserve the original forest reserve - tropical forest.
